∞ Life!

It seems the limitation of internet access affect my blogging here. I wanted to write to you a few days ago but I couldn’t as I do not have internet at home at all. Yeah , Such a shame ! living in the heart of city but no access to net. Anyways but I see it as an advantage to keep up my soul fresh by reading bible and others books. One of the book I am reading ( almost finished the reading of it ) called When to Jump by Mike Lewis.

I have been crossed by one of the fascination story of Barbara Harris whom became a bishop. The first black woman to be in this position.

She said in her 3 pages letter ” If you believe in what you want to jump to , then I encourage you to make that leap of faith and not to be timid. Make that leap, and see what the end may be. That being said , first try and make a plan. Think about a way you can maintain your lifestyle in case the jump is not successful. When I first considered ordination as deacon, I had to think through how I would support my self. When I became a priest , I could not maintain myself on a priest’s salary. I had to have other ideas. I had to have a plan. ”

Such an inspiring book. There are a lot of short story of people who changed their career and how they became successful. I definitely recommend you to read.

The words are highlighted these days for me, is LIFE. But not a temporary life , An Eternal Life.

EL is the most vision of us. It was the vital words for Apostle Paul. Paul and other disciples knew that ( further in their journey they realised more) the gospel we are preaching be accomplished on the earth only , that would not be forever gospel. If our God is unseen God , We believe and hold on unseen things we also have to believe eternal life. A beautiful hope that will never and ever perish. You know! We see things and act accordingly. But in spiritual realm we do not see the things and can not act fast and respond it. Some people out there do not believe to anything on the existence of the things. Still with all great philosophy topics they could not answer the simple and important question of life.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

Having a heart to heart relationship with Jesus shift our view to an eternal prospective life.

 

I am waiting for that day, that everything be revealed to us as mirror. We see the true but we can not recognise it. We do know the right things but we do wrong instead.

Everything is not flesh. Our small mind can not comprehend the big thing of spirit. I had a couple of conversation with a friend many years ago, He even did not believe that we have spirit.

We are Spirit. Because with this Spirit we can worship the only One. “I believe… the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.” I believe eternal life commences after the second coming of Jesus and the resurrection of the dead. I believe there is a place for punishment. I believe there is a heavenly place for those have a heart to heart relationship with Jesus.

N.T. Wright argues that “God’s plan is not to abandon this world… Rather, he intends to remake it. And when he does, he will raise all people to new bodily life to live in it. That is the promise of the Christian gospel”

 

Pray :

Father , I pray that you give a new prospective to see the things the way you see. Open our eyes and heart to see and understand they way you are. We are waiting for your coming back Jesus. We are waiting for you Jesus. Let us hold to the joy of eternal life till we see you face to face.
