And when I ate it, it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth. {Ezekiel 3 : 3]

How can we eat the word of God? No, I am not saying ‘break’ it; I am saying how to ‘ eat them’. The thought of eating the word of Truth dropped in my soul last night. Believe it or not, I was repeating Ezekiel 3 without knowing it – as a result, I searched the Bible to find the verse talks about eating the word. Here we go: 

The voice said to me, “Son of man, eat what I am giving you-eat this scroll! Then go and give its message to the people of Israel.” [Ezekiel 3:1]

We are filling our stomachs with a lot of things during our lifetime. One thing, God is asking us today to be filled with His Word and Truth. Eating the Truth means eating Jesus’s body and drinking His Blood. Let no men lie to you.

He broke the bread, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Jesus said. There is eternal life offered to us with eating Jesus and drinking his precious Blood. Let’s see how can we eat; we talked about it is crucial to have a fest of Truth. The below are some of the examples of filling our stomachs with Truth:

1- Walking with Jesus

2- Reading the Bible

3- Memorise and eat the verses daily 

3- Communion and fellowship with believers

4- Praying ( in times of need and not time of need/ all the time)

5- Talking with Jesus

6- Be with Jesus add Listen to the Holy Spirit

7- Give all our mind, heart and soul to Him 

Eating Jesus means being present actively with Him and intentionally thank him for his Truth within us. Of course, that comes with trusting that what we eat will heal us whole, and that is why drinking his Blood will wash our sinful Blood and make it pure as it goes through our veins. Our cells enjoy it, our mind appreciates it, our hearts are glad in it, and our soul is dancing with it. ” Son of man, eat what I am giving you- eat this scroll!!” Some thinking, this is a magic food, some others thinking is unreal. And they fill their stomachs with other junk stuff of this world. We had enough to be filled with the lies of enemies—enough travelling in the desert without water. We read and listen to the word of Truth now. We eat them and enjoy having everlasting life with Jesus. Carrying the Truth is our goal; this is our purpose. I mark today as a new generation’s army to fill my whole with the Truth of Christ, my saviour.
