Three reminders that help us to enter unto Peace

Well, we all need peace right? From time to time as life draws us with things around and threw at us different things, we’ll get distracted and unfocused. But we, Christians have hope and a secret weapon to use against the enemies. When the darkness came and knock on our doors then we are well prepared and stood firm and hope it’ll pass quickly.

The first reminder is :

1- Let life be as it is.

What do I mean by that? I mean don’t worry about anytning. The time changed? The kingdom changed? Have your circumstances changed? You missed the opportunities? You are late? you have no money? You have no time? You think you are aged? Let me encourage us, we have nothing to lose. NOTHING! Let not a thing move you. You are not here to control things. You are here to travel and experience. You are a traveller. You are an ambassador! Remember what Apostle Paul says in Philippines 4 verse 6(a) “in nothing be anxious

2- Pray about everything

This is your weapon. Instead, pray and tell your concerns to the heavenly Father who loves you. You don’t need to be an expert in prayer or be an old Christian to do this. Speak a simple word of the heart prayer, you can tell to God. Is there any need? Is there an issue? Is there any need for guidance? Healing? Whatever it is, pray is the answer. Tell Him your request. Don’t keep them in your chest, let God hear your prayers although He knows but God loves us when we come to Him. In the same verse Apostle Paul says “pray about everything. Tell God what you need“. How vital is this reminder: Prayer.

3- Our thirds reminder is Gratitude

Thanking what we have gives us a sense of contentment and achievement. We can thank God right where we are, in any season of our lives journey. So often, we forget to be thankful for all blessings and when we take the blessing, we do run and don’t look back. Can we be thankful to God. We can start with little simple things, thank God for the health, for the family members, for the friends, for the community, for the city, for the country. And the last part of verse 6 chapter 4 of the Philippines says “and thank him for all he has done.”

Now, take these three reminders and apply it into your life and peace of everlasting God will be unto your life.

Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
