Today I wan to talk about Sacrifice. What is the meaning of sacrificing life for you? How you gonna live a life full of faithfulness. Specially I am going to talk about those family needs reconciliation first with themselves and than others.
For this very reason I am getting back up from the scripture. I am not trying to convince you rather encourage and remind you that the big sacrifice been made for your life already.
When God created Adam and Eve , He wants them to have a great relationship . a true friendship and walk everyday life with them. But they have not been fully obedient to call of God. They lost their first amazing view somehow long the way. When they have been out from the straight call of God. They feel , they have that emptiness nothing can fill that, They turned to do sacrifice through animals and show to their creator that they still need that feel , need that closeness before creation. Humanity lost and confusion on their way somehow. But fortunately this was not end of the story . With all our iniquity , God was faithful.
For many years sacrifices made with their best Delete repeated word to God. ( Delete repeated word 9 :3-4 , exodus 29 : 19 – 22 ). Was this sacrifice enough to turn the side of God to us. They created many ways to show respect and back to real relationship. They thought the blood or the flesh of an animal to God as a substitute payment for their sin. The scripture told us God was pleased in this (Hebrews 11 : 39 – 40 ). According to Mosaic Law sacrifice had three central ideas : Consecration , expiation (covering sin) , and propitiation ( satisfaction of divine anger ). All these had made to pure people from the sin.
” Sacrifice as worship is people giving back to God what God has previously given them as a means of Grace. ” Eventually , these sacrifices speak about one final perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ ( Hebrews 10 : 11 – 18). The true lamb of God made a way for a true first relationship for us. After fall of mankind there is been hard to people back to God. But Jesus opened the way. He paid the cost for us. His sacrifice can heal your life. His sacrifice can open up the heaven’s treasures in your household. He wants to mend your family and relationship to each other. We need a pair of ear to listen , we need two eyes to see , we need his power to empower us.
You do not need to sacrifice physically anything. But you need sacrifice spiritually . You need to sacrifice as Christ did. You need to sacrifice your ambition and dream for the sake of Christ. To forgive others , love the unlovable and give as much as you can. Because this life is not yours anymore, It is for His. You are belong to Him not the sinful world.( 1 Corinthians 6 : 19 ) .
We know that “we all have knowledge.” Knowledge puffs you up with pride, but love builds up. ( 1 Corinthians 8 : 1 ). A good sacrifice is based on love. What you need to give it up today for the sake of Jesus. Is it passing your’ old thinking way ‘ ? Is it past ? I do not what sacrifice you need to make, whatever it may like for you. Why not taking a new path.
There is no pride in true love.
“Whoever thinks he knows something does not yet know anything as he should. ” ( 1 Corinthians 8 : 2).
