Ezra praised the Lord, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, “Amen! Amen!” Then they bowed down and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.
Nehemiah 8:6 NIV
The great teacher of the law stood on a high wooden platform. With a heavy heart of revelation from God. He had something to offer God and his people. He had a mission to accomplish. His mission was to bring back the people of God to the Lord. To tell his people back to their faith. As we read in the book of Nehemiah chapter 8, we see! Ezra is not alone. A group of supporters stood behind him. Supporting him to continue praising the Lord in front of people.
We don’t need a fancy platform. We don’t need a million followers somewhere in a virtual world. All we need is a heart and the benefits of having a group of people to push us to what God wants to tell our people.
Often we do another way around, we say if I have an influence, I can be a voice for the Lord. God wants us to be a voice for Him now on a wooden platform. It does not matter where you are, or what you do ( or have done) God can use anyone. God can use you. Whatever condition you see, yourself. He can use you! He doesn’t misuse, but he releases us from the prison of the world and makes us his vessel.
Then, go and find your wooden platform! Go and praise the Lord. Where Yehweh our God will be pleased.
