Embracing this wisdom from above means we are seeking out guidance beyond our own limited human understanding. It encourages us to pause, reflect, and ask for discernment in our decisions. As James 3:17 reminds us, “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” It’s about cultivating a heart that is receptive to divine leading in every area of our lives.
