The Perfect Balance
Yet, His incredible mercy provides a way for us to stand before Him. His compassion offers forgiveness, making a path where we might otherwise face only condemnation. It’s truly amazing to contemplate this divine balance. The prophet Jeremiah understood this well, writing, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Every single day, we’re offered a fresh start through His endless grace. This isn’t about Him ignoring justice; it’s about Him fulfilling it perfectly through Christ, while extending boundless mercy to us. Embracing this truth can bring such deep peace to our hearts. We can trust in a God who is both righteous in judgment and rich in love.
