With the assistance of God, we have achieved victory in living a life devoted to Jesus.
Living a life as a Christian is not easy, but it is always fulfilling. The Bible offers many verses that can help us lead our daily lives and live up to Jesus’ expectations.
So what Jesus wants us to live?
Here are some Bible verses which are some of the way Jesus wants us to live:
Ephesians 5:15-16 – “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.”
Psalms 23:1 – “The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”
Proverbs 21:21 – “Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.”
Proverbs 27:19 – “As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.”
Genesis 2:7 – “Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.”
Colossians 3:23-24 – “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Isaiah 40:31 – “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
Isaiah 41:10 – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Doing good things are good, but believing in him shapes your identity.
One of the most important things we can do as Christians is to love others. In John 13:34-35, Jesus says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Another important aspect of Christian living is forgiveness. In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus says, “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”
We should also strive to be honest and truthful in all that we do. In Proverbs 12:22, it says, “The LORD detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy.”
Living a life of Christian means following Christ, truly within you and around you! It means carrying the Cross and knowing the creator of all universe has everything in his hands.
