Hello my dear friend, how are you today?
It’s amazing how past experiences can leave such deep marks, isn’t it? We all carry some kind of wound from the past, whether it’s from a relationship, a childhood event, or a simple disappointment that just stayed with us. Sometimes, we try to just push them down, hoping they’ll disappear, but they often just fester.
God is able to heal our past! Yes, He is our healer!
Realising that these old hurts are still affecting our present behaviour is the first big step towards freedom. Healing isn’t a quick fix or a straight line; it’s a journey, unique for every single one of us. It requires patience and a good deal of courage to revisit those places that hurt.
But you know what? There’s immense hope. Just as Psalm 147:3 tells us, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” It’s a beautiful promise that we’re not alone in this process. Allowing ourselves to feel, to grieve, and then to release is such an important part of making peace with what was.
It’s about choosing to look towards a brighter future, not letting the shadows of the past define our current colour. Be gentle with yourself, my friend. You deserve peace and a fresh start.
Let’s do this! and Let God work done in our lives.
Your friend
Dariush Y.
