Spiritual warfare is a very real part of our Christian walk, even when we can’t physically see the enemy. Sometimes it feels like an unseen force is working against our peace or our progress. It might manifest as persistent worry, internal conflict, or constant opposition to doing what’s right.
Our greatest defence and offence in these moments is consistent, heartfelt prayer. Prayer isn’t just asking for things; it’s engaging directly with God’s power and sovereignty.
Staying Strong Through Prayer
The Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:18 to ‘Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.’ This guidance helps us realise we’re not fighting alone or with our own strength.
When you feel overwhelmed, remember you have a direct line to the Creator of the universe. His strength empowers us to stand firm against any spiritual challenge. Our Father longs to hear from us and equip us for every battle.

I know actually what you’re talking about, brother. The enemy of our souls is sneaky and wants to separate us from God ‘s fellowship. As Paul said to the Corinthians: “The weapons of our welfare are not carnal, but are mighty through God, for the pulling down of strong holds.”
