They all have been waiting – 120 of them, seeking and calling upon the name of the Lord. The coming of the Holy Spirit was so close- They expected an unexpected miracle to happen. But, suddenly, they saw all the elements; The fire and the thick smoke- they all needed this combination from heaven. They have seen Jesus after he resurrected from death several times- they thought we would see Jesus again in person! But God had another plan- The promised one was there- The Holy Spirit.
Everyone’s heart got to fill with Joy unbelievably. It looked like all of 120 walking in heaven. They encountered an incredible experience as we read from the book of Acts chapter 2 verse seven; others when they saw it” they were all amazed at this “. not only that also” They were surprised, because, as the apostle was speaking, everyone heard in their own language.”
When the Holy Spirit comes into your lives – your heart fills with joy and happiness. You experience heaven on earth. The fire of the Holy Spirit changes you inside out.
” The people were all amazed and confused. They asked each other, ” What is happening? “
Great things were happening; awesome things were happening; the great and glorious day of the Lord is here. Oh, How our heart is happy. We have the comforter, the peace and the loving Holy Spirit with us always.
” David said this about him: ‘ I saw the Lord before me always; he is at my right side to keep me safe. So my heart is happy, and the words I speak are words of joy. Yes, even my body will live with hope because you will not leave me in the place of death. You will not let the body of your holy one rot in the grave. You taught me how to live. You will come close to me and give me great joy.’ Psalm 16: 8-11 ”
My dear friend, let your heart be glad, rejoice and celebrate as the holy one lives in you; the great things will happen for you; the awesome things are ahead. You are loved so much. So keep your heads held high always.
