Yesterday was the longest day in Australia. We got 14 hours and 24 minutes of daylight. What to do when your day is longer than usual? Amazingly, a week or two after would be the warmest days. as the sun takes its time to heat us, we prepare ourselves to welcome the summer. Our Christmas is pretty hot too. Not only that, Christmas eve would be warmer than Christmas day this year 2022.
A family reunion happening this year in our nest. We have set up a medium shelter in the backyard to accommodate all as might share a meal somewhere there.
Life shouldn’t be complex, we can make it simple by looking at what’s in front. We either see too far or too near! Past is for the past. We walk towards the front.
Christmas also is a reminder for us, a reminder of what is in front of us, not what was behind us or the uncertainty of the future. Remember, we have a certain God, Who knows what to do. We lean on Jesus and push ahead. No matter how hard would be, we can do it. Who we are, and our true identity defines well in Jesus.
Jesus came to our world. Change the broken world, to build our life. Nah! Ignorance is not our portion, rejection is not ours! You and I are accepted into the Kingdom of God. Love made the way, a beautiful flower given to each one of us.
Either in the longest or shortest days.
I just want to invite you into this moment to love Jesus and know him more. We all do, He is the treasure of hearts , the King of Kings. That is all about CHRISTmas.
A merry Christmas to you and your family. Love all the way from Australia to you.

Dariush, Merry Christmas from the Far North close to the Arctic Circle. Yesterday was our shortest day of daylight of 3 hours and 21 minutes of twilight. It was -41 F and -40.55 C, which is extremely frigid. We are the opposite of you in Australia. Enjoy your summer. I’m looking forward to more daylight and warmer temperatures. We will have the midnight sun in June. Happy New Year!

We get more sunlight this time of year than Pure Glory does, but it’s still dark and cold. There’s a huge winter cold front pushing through the southern plains of the US where we live.
Thanks for always sharing a different kind of sunshine with us, Dariush. Your blog is such an encouragement!
