Living with integrity

Living with integrity

My dear friends, as we are going into the weekend, I just wanted to keep this as a reminder to that living with integrity was / is the vital part our daily lives.

Yesterday we talked about Identity in Christ. Today, we will talk about Integrity.

Living with integrity means consistently choosing what is right, even when it’s difficult or no one is watching. It’s about aligning your actions with your values, every single day. True integrity isn’t just about avoiding big lies; it’s in the small, everyday decisions. It’s the quiet promise you keep to yourself, the honest feedback you give, or owning up to a mistake. This kind of consistent behaviour builds trust, not just with others, but deeply within yourself too.

The Inner Compass

The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 11:3, “The integrity of the upright guides them.” It’s a compass that steers us through life’s complexities. I’ve come to realise how much peace comes from knowing you’re operating from a place of genuine sincerity. It removes the need for pretending or keeping up appearances, which can be exhausting. C.S. Lewis once wrote, “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” This resonates powerfully, highlighting the internal nature of true integrity. Striving for integrity isn’t always easy, but it’s a deeply rewarding way to live. It shapes who we are and how we influence the world around us. It frees you to be authentically yourself.

See you on Monday with new post.
