Yep, it is the FIFA Women’s World Cup happening now. And one of host nation is Australia, I must say something right? As I have a passion for football , oops excuse “soccer” in the language of Aussies.
Aussies has played their first match against Republic of Ireland. The score was 1 – 0, which we had a penalty .
The second match against Nigeria 🇳🇬 is tonight at 8pm AEST. Nigeria shown a good and solid team, their opening match with Canada 🇨🇦 was nil – nil. (With a red card for Nigeria ) Also Canada has beaten Ireland last night 2-1. I know it’s getting messy a bit , but I believe Matilda’s are able to put performance and go up from the group stage. There are pretty good team in the competition like Brazil 🇧🇷, Spain 🇪🇸 , Japan 🇯🇵.
However our Matilda girls 👧 are determined and strong to conquer more.
On the other side , New Zealand 🇳🇿 which is one of the other host nation were struggling to win the Philippines 🇵🇭- which they lost eventually 1-0.
Hope it will be a party 🎉 in Australia 🇦🇺 tonight.
We look forward for a good game from both nations.
