Marking a Milestone: My Birthday

Guess what? It’s my birthday 🥳, offering up a perfect excuse to celebrate throughout August and beyond.

Absolutely, I’m aware I’m growing older. But you know what? There’s a calm and beautiful feeling inside me, assuring me that I’m not alone. The recent days have been even better than I expected, and things are coming together to create wonderful memories.

It was late on Thursday, so I decided to message a couple of mates to catch up for lunch on Saturday. Some were able to make it, while others couldn’t. Thankfully, three friends were able to join on Saturday, and it was a great catch-up after a while. Life has gotten busier for everyone, and the culture of working hard is now an everyday thing – I couldn’t agree more. With inflation and the soaring cost of living, working is essential to afford the basics. Oh, and by the way, the food was absolutely delicious!

Ended up going to a Japanese restaurant nearby. No regret- the food was right for my stomach.

It was a beautiful day that stretched into the evening, and we enjoyed some pizza with the family. Meanwhile, history was being made by the Australian Matildas in the Women’s World Cup ⚽️. The game was intense, and as the penalty shootout decided the fate of the girls and the nation against France 🇫🇷, the Matildas emerged victorious. With this win, they’re advancing to the semi-finals against England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 on Wednesday, August 16th. A celebratory atmosphere engulfed the scene on Saturday, and it’s truly well-deserved for the girls. The nation’s eyes are fixated on this match, even putting other events like rugby on hold to witness the Matildas’ triumph.

Okay , enough talk about the football , you might not be fan of it , but because ! I am fan of it and it is my birthday and you are reading this post. : ) you are the best.

Hey, I finished up the Saturday night with Ice cream 🍨 and right on the day of birthday relax and have lunch with fam with cutting a cake and enjoy the evening.

Grateful for another year, I thank God for all He has done ✔️. From the tiniest to the most significant miracles, I express my gratitude to Jesus. I appreciate Him even for the events that didn’t transpire, whether good or bad. All my praise goes to Jesus, my saviour. I feel privileged if I’m chosen for this life and the next, knowing that my soul is under His care. He treasures my tears of joy and pain in His 🏺 Jar. The truth is, I don’t belong to myself; I belong to Jesus. I don’t navigate this journey alone; it’s Jesus who guides my steps. Through my brokenness, He leads me, refining me both inwardly and outwardly.

I can simply close my eyes and envision Jesus beautifully overseeing everything. The enigma of being with Jesus eternally will one day be unraveled. My friend, I urge you to establish a personal connection with Jesus. He has the power to safeguard you in the face of the unknown.
