Not for Me but for Others

Hard , Hard and Hard.

I admit that doing our best for others most of the time is tough. Trying to please someone in life is hard work. It happens in marriage. Although I am not familiar with it as a single man, I can truly imagine it would be a lot of work to love and please.

Interestingly, the Bible tells us to be agents of kindness, to be the first to forgive and let go. How is this possible? We live in the world too, we are human too! I think it can be done; it is a possible mission. Being a kindness machine is not easy sometimes, I get it! But by the power of the Holy Spirit, we can. 😌

You can be such kind and faithful women and men of God, filled with His Spirit in your home, workplace, or wherever you are. We intentionally love someone, we intentionally are kind to someone. I know it would be hard, but let me tell you, Jesus Christ did the hardest part. He gave everything for the sake of our salvation; they nailed His hands and feet to the Cross.

Doing the best for others is not easy! But it brings rewards and glory to God.

It could be a small act, like giving up your seat for an elderly person, helping an old woman or man cross the street, offering assistance to a friend or stranger, or visiting a sick person in the hospital… you name it. We have God on our side; He is our helper. When you do a small good deed for others, you do it for God. We are ambassadors of our Heavenly Father on this earth. 🌍

Don’t be concerned for your own good but for the good of others.“
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭24‬ ‭NLT‬‬
There are good things you can do for others, there are honorable and noble things you can do for others. Everyone has a role to fulfill. You know your talents and abilities; then, use them for the good of others in whatever area you are in. Let this be your weapon of goodness and glorify your Father, then you will be blessed. Do it with all your heart, mind, and soul.

So what are we waiting for ? There are many souls to save – go into the world and shine for the Lord. He will be with you.

This what exactly apostle Paul did :

I, too, try to please everyone in everything I do. I don’t just do what is best for me; I do what is best for others so that many may be saved.“
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭33‬ ‭NLT‬‬
