Opening our hearts is the hardest part, and it is the key to new things. How can we let go of the bad and ugly things of this world that have somehow stuck to us or are trying to find room within us?
If we could have won the battle of our life early, everything would be different! But somehow, we are living in a world of expiration. Everything and everyone expires one day! But it doesn’t mean it would be the end of the story. It would be a new beginning with a new heart and body given to us.
Destiny feels like a piece of cake in your heart.
For now, we need a new set of heart, the kind of heart that can see things differently and much better than the one we have right now. It’s like a blind person seeing for the first time.
Here the Psalmist telling us
”Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions.“
Psalms 119:18 NLT
We are humans, full of flaws and mistakes. I don’t know about you, but I truly need God to open my heart’s eyes so that I can see wonderful things. The unseen things that can change my life forever. The journey of life is in our hands right now – whichever direction we choose, we will face unforeseen challenges.
If I had the sun in my eyes so I could burn away the things I wouldn’t want to see. Thank God I don’t have it. I am unable; as a living dust on earth, my shortcomings humble me and keep me grounded.
Opening our hearts’ eyes makes us humble, helping us refocus on things that didn’t matter before!
The things that didn’t matter before are now important again. We used to run from those things, but now with our eyes opened, we are set free! The true big picture of the meaning of our life is completely clear, our vision is restored, and the source of life brings us joy. And we know that death is not the end but a new beginning with God.
How much can this simple act change the destiny of our life, here on earth and in the life to come?
Are you willing to open your hearts and say Yes to God, allowing Him to enter and change you?
