Isaiah 26:3: A Beautiful Promise

I cuddle the night with a full basket of stars. I keep my eyes safe, knowing the moon’s light will lead me. It is all part of a plan, even better than the jazz-themed musical La La Land. I’m over the moon.

I am the one walking through the tunnel of a wheat farm, thanking God for the blessings.

Head on my pillow, lights off, dreaming of a farm full of wheat. I’m touching them with my right hand, walking in it. Surely, there will be a harvest, and surely, the barn will be full of golden color. Who knows? Maybe one day I will lay down in the middle of a wheat farm and wish for a good dream. A clear blue sky with no burning sun. I’ll be like Jesus after a big miracle, withdrawing to a mountain to pray.

You see miracles when you stay focused and strong in your mind with God

There, my voice could be heard louder than a crowd. There, I can share all my wishes and dreams, stepping into a beautiful atmosphere that loves me deeply, a space known to Jesus. I kiss the stillness of presence, a lovely handshake of peace. And a load of lightness through me , I can see the unseen, the birth of newness in everything. Like the wheat need sun, my all being need my creator to rise sharply in beauty and strong. The framer trusts in God. The One who causes rain, the One who causes the sun to shine, the One who protects.

You will keep in perfect peace
    those whose minds are steadfast,
    because they trust in you.

Isaiah 26:3

We need to hold on to this promise, putting in just a little more effort. God can appear unexpectedly in your quiet moments, in your dedication to serving and loving His people. You are the wheat of this farm; you need to be golden and ready. You need to grow strong and resilient.

Tell me:

What keeps our minds away from Jesus? What does this farm need to be ready?
