Hello dear friends,
When a season changes, you feel like new things are moving in your heart. I definitely feel it, in a good way. It’s like a reminder that God is changing the season and is at work. If He takes care of the environment we live in, how much more will He look after us? He changes things for our good, even though we may be in doubt or feel distant from Him. In contrast, for even a small change on our end, we need a strategy and must be willing to take risks. But when God takes over, there is no risk—the outcome is always the best, and His love keeps pouring over us more and more.
I hope your day has been going well so far. Lately, the air is starting to smell like spring here in Australia —a lovely scent that brings good vibes and hints at a world full of blooming flowers. It’s a great time for us to refresh our hearts just like nature does. Let’s leave behind what belongs to winter and embrace the new season with hearts full of kindness, forgiveness, and love. The book of “Switch On Your Brain” by Dr. Caroline Leaf combines neuroscience and scripture to show how you can rewire your brain by changing your thoughts, leading to better mental and emotional health.
This season is a fantastic opportunity to break free from old habits we’ve grown accustomed to and direct our minds towards new and better things. Maybe it’s time to reflect on ourselves and see what grudges, flaws, and worries have settled in our hearts that need to be pruned away. When we renew our minds and hearts, we truly understand what is genuinely good and valuable, and how we can lead better lives. The book of Renewing the Mind: The Foundation of Your Success by Casey Treat focuses on transforming your life by renewing your mind according to biblical principles, leading to a more successful and fulfilled life.
Just as the earth and sky are being renewed, we can also start anew. Spring is approaching, and we have only 10 days left. Let’s welcome it with spring-like hearts and let kindness and love flow into our lives.
I hope your heart is always filled with the blossoms of spring!
“Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.”
