I was thinking about the angels last night! I remembered seeing an angel stop a horrible accident many years ago. It was like a flashback, reminding me of God’s goodness in my life—miracle after miracle happening. But it doesn’t mean that God has stopped performing miracles as I get older! I’ve become more aware of Him, with the wisdom and understanding He’s given me. As my mind has grown and my maturity level has risen, I can see how much God has looked after me.
Anyway! How? Only God knows and can explain. Sorry, I cannot :). I came here to write and share a few words, as it’s been a while since I’ve written directly to you, my friend. New or old, whether you’ve been reading my posts consistently or just a few times, I’m so happy to have you here.
Oooof! You know, 2024 has already flown by! Year after year seems to go faster and faster, don’t you think? Spring is beautiful this year in Sydney. Everyone can confirm it; all the jacaranda trees are wearing their purple or white cloaks. I’m observing them, loving them—they don’t even know how much joy they bring to my heart, even if only for a season. And that’s okay! Breathe, friend, breathe—every season has love and kindness to offer. Look around and see some beauty; who knows, you might hear God’s voice through it.
I’m a bit busy with study these days! I spend almost 1–2 hours per day after work learning new technology. After graduating from university, study became a bit of a challenge, but I encourage myself by saying, “You can do it; you can do all things through Jesus.” When I say that, I feel a fresh burst of energy that keeps me going! 🙂
Things are going well for me. Life is beautiful, and God has put contentment in my heart. Wherever I am, I am content and praise God for His presence on my journey. I’ve learned to be happy with who I am and with what I have and what I’ll become. Though I dream big, aiming to become the person God wants me to be, I don’t settle for less—Yes there are good words in my dictionary! With all my flaws and weaknesses, I praise Him.
You may say, “This guy isn’t in touch with the world! Can’t he see the war, the inequities, the poverty, the sickness…?” Yes, I see and hear about these things, my friend. Sometimes, I even experience them. And I am praying for the world. I am praying for my town, my country—near and far. I am praying for you, dear friend. You might not know that, but I am praying that you see things through God’s lens, that Jesus will return, and that we will have a new life in Him forever.
And I am full of joy that you are here, right here, reading this post. God bless you, and know that God loves you. Whatever comes in our lives will turn for good, my dear friend. I wish I could write more to you, but our time is limited. Still, I am here to encourage your heart.
Let’s focus on Jesus. Let’s put aside all our worries, our life decisions, and the things we think we can solve on our own, and give them to Him. Let’s walk with Jesus.
Let me know how your life is going?
Your friend
Dariush Youkhaneh
