Are you wondering how can you get closer to God? Or something in you mesmerising, Is God thinking about me!? The one who millions of people past and present believe in. Hmm is it possible that I can get a little closer to God? You need to believe God exists. That who He was|is here, there always. At all the time.
If you’re looking to get closer to God, there are many ways to do so. One of the best ways is to read the Bible and meditate on its teachings.
“Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” – James 4:8 “The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.” – Psalm 145:18 for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6

Surrounding yourself with other believers can help you stay accountable and provide support when you need it.
Here are some other ways that you can get closer to God:
Give thanks – Gratitude opens our eyes to all that God is doing around us. It helps us cultivate a heart that is focused on Him.
Practice humility – Biblical humility is giving up our own selfish and vain desires so we can do the will of God.
Confess your sins – By confessing our sins, practicing humility, and transforming our thoughts with Scripture; we can become more like Christ and get closer to God.
Read your Bible – Reading your Bible daily is an excellent way to get closer to God. It helps you understand His character and His plan for your life.
Pray – Prayer is a powerful tool that allows us to communicate with God. It helps us build a deeper relationship with Him.
Attend church – Attending church regularly provides an opportunity for fellowship with other believers and helps us grow in our faith.
Meditate on Scripture – Meditating on Scripture allows us to focus our minds on God’s Word and helps us apply it to our lives. Listen for God’s voice – Listening to Holy Spirit can help us discern His will for our lives.
Worship God for Who He is- worshiping opens the doors of heaven and changes the atomedpher in your life.
Serve God, either your time or something practical in your local church or town! You can be the hands, feet, and eyes of the Lord. Through that, you are getting closer to God.
