A Dish of Preserved Olive

I want to share with you a unique dish featuring preserved olives from Gilan, located in the northern region of Persia.

I don’t often share about food, but I have a quick and easy dish that’s perfect for meal prepping. You can pair your preserved olives with any main dish you like. Follow these steps to prepare it:

The ingredients you need are:

1- Sour Pomegranate Juice

2- Pomegranate fruit ( itself)

3- Salt

4- Garlic

5- Pepper

6- Walnuts

7- Aromatic vegetables ( like Basil and Parsley)

8- Olive Oil

9- Pitted Olives

To prepare a delicious dish, start by combining sour pomegranate juice with sweet pomegranate paste. Then, add garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, walnuts, and aromatic vegetables to the mix. Lastly, toss in pitted olives and stir everything together thoroughly. Store the mixture in a sealed container in the fridge for around 24 hours to let the flavours meld together. Enjoy!I

Please savour your delicious olive dish and feel free to share your positive experience with your loved ones. You can even share this post to spread the word about this tasty treat.

  1. Now that looks super healthy! Not a big fan of pomegranates, but when mixed with other ingredients, it combines well. I’d also be inclined to add cilantro [coriander] to this blend. Thanks for sharing!

, it all depends. But it is truly healthy and great for those who have a diet or following a program, as you may know, pomegranates are well to lose weight. Thanks Lisa.

      1. That’s the great thing about recipes — they change with each individual. I’m a huge fan of coriander and it’s added with abundance to my salsa.

You’re right, pomegranates are good for weight loss and also beneficial for one’s heart, so right there it’s a winning ingredient!
