When the world is turning upside down, I look above and thank God. When the news is bad—and we hear and see worse every single day—I keep going. I didn’t realise that God is just a closed eye away, a single prayer away, a moment of willing silence away. The Holy Spirit, the helper of my soul, is right here in my heart. When there seems to be no way, He opens doors, directs my path, and loves me as I am.
There is no true peace anywhere except in the arms of our loving Jesus. Go anywhere you want, travel as far as you wish, hide wherever you can, turn to anyone you like—you cannot find the perfect love of Jesus anywhere but in Him.
Come and sit next to me on this journey of eternal life. Let us be neighbors, neighbors in heaven. Who knows, we might see each other differently. You and I were born at the perfect time to be ourselves. Let us fulfill our mission of knowing God and each other. Who can we love more today? Who can we help today? How can we be kinder today? Can we be a bit wild and free, walking in the true light of heaven on earth?
