I am still in awe, still in need of what God can do—something beyond what I can achieve. That something is beyond my ability, talent, position, or even my sense of identity. I wish I could change the way things are, but I am not a magician, nor do I want to be. Yet, sometimes, we treat life like magicians, believing our tricks and illusions can solve every situation.

I long for the impact of “that something” in my life—the same “something” evident in the book of Acts, which gave the apostles ability beyond the natural realm. It transformed them to be bold and brave, enabling them to stand before thousands and fulfill God’s mission. It didn’t just connect them with their audience; it went far beyond their own talents. If you read Acts 2 slowly, you’ll see a reflection of this “something” that was completely extraordinary. It was 9 a.m., and people thought they were drunk—but who drinks so early in the morning?

That something could change your life forever! That something is the work of God in your life—let it be.

This “something”, was the work of the Holy Spirit, was not just a mystical event but a turning point. You and I need this turning point in our lives. We need to pause in the busyness of life, asking God to speak to us and pour out His Spirit on us again and again. It is beyond our control—we cannot be in two places at once. But God can. He can change things around us for our good if we just obey. Even when my disobedience leads me astray, repentance brings me back to Him. Like a rebellious son, I need His mercy every time.

Suddenly, “that something” could become the salvation story of our lives. It is the work of the Holy Spirit, a miraculous power we’ve never experienced before. I pray that God will open our eyes and give us a fresh revelation of Himself, transforming ordinary people into those who accomplish extraordinary things for Him.

That something brought great and impossible things to life:

  • The Spirit empowered Gideon to lead Israel against the Midianites (Judges 6:34).
  • The Spirit prepared David to become a king (1 Samuel 16:13).

And many others. God can do what we cannot. He can work in your life, in my life, and in the lives of everyone around us.

Hey dear friend, thanks for reading this post, I hope it blessed you, are you following my blog? do you care to share this blog to someone? This might the part of ” that something “for others!
