When Sorrow Births Joy.
Here I am, my Jesus , I belong to You. When we go through suffering and sorrow, You feel our pain. You see how hard it is to watch the world You created drifting away from Your presence. Yet You have never left us. From the beginning of our existence until now, You have kept Your eye on us and shown Your love for us.
Shape me, break me, and form me anew in Your image. No, I will not conform to this world, we want to be like You.
Take our dreams, our ambitions, and our unholiness, and burn them in Your powerful fire.
Fill us with Your fullness. Let us walk in Your presence, dance in Your holiness, and lift a shout of praise to You. Who are we, that with all Your greatness, You look at us? We are Not worthy, yet we praise You in this mortal body and you hear us. Sinful, yet washed by the blood of the Lamb.
We came to this world to be Your witnesses, to be Yours, to be the ones You called us to be! TAKE THIS HEART AND MAKE IT YOURS FOREVER!
This blood and flesh, this bone and breath. Every inch of our movement made to know You. Does the world need more heroes? No, the world needs more like You — to have compassion, to be kind, to be light, to love the unlovable, to look to the horizon of truth and righteousness with no judgment. Yes, we are still in wonder: when are You going to return, Jesus? When are You whispering to the heart of all, that You are the truth, the life, and the way? If one of a thousand days is one day for You, then how many days do we need to wait? Did You put a reminder in Your calendar for Your return?
While we’re waiting, we sing it loudly:
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalms 121
That David sang the song; listen to us as we sing this song:
We always love You, Jesus. When are You going to return? We're waiting to see You.
Spring has sprung, the land Down Under is waiting for You. Capture the heart, heal every wound, and hover over this land again. Seasons change all around the world; You are everywhere. We’ll always love You, Jesus.
