Death is a big mystery for everyone. It’s like leaving behind the things we know and entering an unknown place without a body and with our eyes closed. What’s scarier isn’t how we die, but where we go afterward. It’s like when we don’t know where we’re headed, we feel lost, like being in a forest without a map. We like things when they’re planned and organised, right? We plan for our future, our job, our holidays, and even our visits to others.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5‬:‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬

I’m referencing a Bible verse above, where Jesus understood how important life is. He explained it simply: if we listen and believe him, we can have eternal life. He’s giving us a plan for the future. He’s telling us that we’ll move from death to life, from not knowing to knowing, and from darkness to light. There’s no need to be afraid. In his own words, Paul said that being connected with Christ’s death and coming back to life gives us a fresh start with Him. Eternal life is what we get. If we keep trusting and walking with Jesus, we’ll have life and light.

We, the new generation fueled by technology and innovation, must discover a path to deliver the good news to a world that’s often troubled. We need to let them know that what truly fulfills our hearts comes from above – our true identity and proof of who we are aren’t rooted in the virtual world with its comments and emojis. Our real worth is found solely in Christ. Even if you travel to the farthest reaches of the universe, God remains God, the One who sent His Son Jesus to save us, bridging both the vast and the nearest spaces.

You don’t need to add extra tasks, no need to stress about what’s ahead or what’s happening right now. There’s no need to prove yourself to anyone, no need to flaunt things. God holds the entire world in His hands. Just give it a shot and let God be in control. Your aspirations, your life here on Earth, and everything within you – your thoughts, feelings, and heart ❤️ – they’re all meant to bring glory to Him.

Rebirthing to new life with Him.

It’s tough, you know? Why? Because our human nature tends to focus on physical things. Eternal life requires an everlasting body, which we get as soon as we’re in God’s presence. There’s a lot more benefits I could tell you about. To wrap up my brief post, I encourage you to search for God. Invite Jesus into your heart, open the doors for Him, and allow the Holy Spirit to embrace you in His presence.

What does it mean when Jesus says “cross over from death to life”?
