I want to be a friend, someone for whom nothing changes when I close my eyes to see no difference. Everything falls into place at the right time, if only I trust in knowing God. I may be on the path of life, but I know there is a way, a door, and a light that leads me home. I am like one of the two disciples of Jesus on the road to Emmaus. I need my heart to be stirred by His word. I truly need a renewed sense of wisdom and understanding so that I can be a source of strength to others. As I mentioned in my previous post, I need to be recharged with His Spirit. Then, I can sing like Darlene Zschech, ‘Yes, again to His promises.’

I need another road to Emmaus experience.

If I could be a butterfly, I would sit right on the shoulder of Jesus, where I could be near Him and see things as He sees.

We’re meant to love and be loved in this big, yet small world. As you open your eyes to the unknown, you start to realise this world really needs a ‘road to Emmaus’ experience. Right now, as you take the time to read this post, the busy world around you has so many things to do, filling your day with tasks. I’m so thankful for you, because you’ve come to the realisation that nothing compares to the love of God—nothing. As we start our day, let us ask Him just one thing: ‘Lord, will Your presence be with me today?’

Take a moment and read the below from your Bible (or Bible app):
Luke 24 : 13 – 25

Can I say, you are beautiful. You are strong, made in His image. Wherever you are, you are dearly loved, my friend, by the love of your Savior, Jesus. Wait a little longer, hope a little more. Have faith that everything will fall into place, at the right time and in the right place. He will never fail you. You are always in His mind. He is the Author of our life. He is our lover. He will be with you. Nothing will separate you from His love, nothing.

Keep this in your heart , mind and soul and go for the day with a joy. God sent you out.

Your friend

  1. I went on a retreat called the Walk to Emmaus almost ten years ago. It a women retreat for four days which it allows me to draw closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
